Club Duo Qualify for Divisional Speaking Contests

After making a clean sweep in the Area contests, Tunbridge Wells Speakers Club members Simon Mott and Chris Murphy will be taking part in the Toastmasters divisional International Speech Contest (Simon) and the Evaluation Contest (Chris) on Saturday 27th March but the question is, how did they get there, and what are the benefits of contest speaking?

In this interview with Simon and Chris, they talk about contest speaking as part of an improvement journey, the role of teamwork in the preparation ahead of the contest, how practice and hard work really does make perfect, and the benefits of context speaking at Toastmasters.
