My business is in helping people to speak and make presentations,. I work internationally with all kinds of conferences and events both as a scriptwriter and as a facilitator / moderator.
Most of what I learned about public speaking came from the practice and evaluation at Toastmasters; I found the interactive process invaluable as well as being thoroughly entertaining.
The Tunbridge Wells Club is young, dynamic and has already attracted some great members. If you’re not yet a member I hope you’ll come along and see why we all have such a great time.
Top public speaking tip
Don't let nerves worry you. What you need to do is turn nervous anxiety into excited anticipation - which is just a small shift. You need the tension so you are on your toes and give the best performance. |
