Tunbridge Wells Speakers Club is part of Toastmasters International, which started in 1924 and has grown to become the world’s leading organization helping people conquer their pre-speech jitters. Five million men and women have enjoyed the benefits of membership. The non-profit organization now has 200,000 members in 10,000 clubs in 90 countries.

Meeting in Tunbridge Wells on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, our local members progress through a series of 10 speaking assignments to develop basic skills in public speaking. When finished with the first manual, they can select from among 15 advanced manuals geared to their specific needs. These include Entertaining, Informing, Persuading, PR, Management, Television, Technical Presentation, Special Occasions.

Guests are free to attend any meeting of Tunbridge Wells Speakers without obligation and are always assured of a very warm & friendly welcome. This is the Toastmasters Club for the West Kent area including Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, and for the nearest parts of East Sussex.
